Dark Winter was created in late 2002 by Minnesota recording artist
Nathan Larson ( Samsa, Bunk Data). Nathan was one of the
co-founders of the Green House Music label that released a wide variety
of atmospheric and ambient music by artists such as Vir Unis, Steve Roach, and Alio Die. After GHM closed it's
doors, Nathan created the Dark Winter label to continue releasing music
with a focus on dark ambient music.
Dark Winter is currently operating as a net.label
dedicated to releasing dark ambient and unconventional music from
around the world. We do not presently manufacture, sell or distribute
records, CDs or tapes of our artists. All Dark Winter releases are
available for free download in 192kpbs MP3 format individually or
packaged using WinZip.

Future:Komp is dedicated to
visions of a dated future, one in which machines don't always work but
still save the day. We seek to provide a platform for electronic
musicians from around the Galaxy, specifically those who go to great
lengths to get their hands dirty in the generation and manipulation of
periodic waveforms. |

into any specific category. We enjoy genre-bent, outside the box,
multi-elemental sound creations. Our interests are broad, but a few of
our preferences should be openly stated:
Noise is cool...Noise
is good...We like noise. |

Wire
Fennesz, Merzbow, BJ
