2009 | FLAC | OFF/BRUMA | offb012 Composed improvisation, in three acts, around the magnificence of the
Man, its origins and its exponential perception.
KHEOSTATIC is an improvised play with a total duration of about three
hours trying in an encyclopaedic way to make a sound transcription of
several elements which constitute the human reality, in its language,
intellectuality and action. In the first part, now published, the human
perception was condensed in sound signs of the avant-garde, concrete and
electroacoustic, through the recourse to an immediate and
proto-metaphysical language, in narrow correlation with the possible
conceptuality of the matter and its relations with the spirit. The three
KHEOSTATIC‘s parts will be live recorded at La Société de Curiosités,
Paris. |

2010 | FLAC | Bleak Netlabel | bleak025 [Dark Ambient, Industrial, IDM] Snuff Movie Soundtracks is the result of a project of Barcelona based Sergi Puertas under the name of Bioxid, recorded around 10 years ago, but got stuck in the mind of the creator for some good reasons.
Improvising with guitar, bass and synths around dark ambient, experimental soundscapes, Sergi extends his creative work - he is also writing poetry and novels.
Snuff Movie Soundtrack is the result of a three month creative process in the year 2000.
Sergi got signed by a record label, and his latest CD with Josep Maria Bea is called "La Esfera Cubica". His latest activities include composition of soundtracks for documentaries, on piano, acoustic guitars and string quartets.

2010 | FLAC | Classwar Karaoke | 0009 [Experimental]
Released: 28 February 2010
- ClassWar Karaoke is a collective
and netlabel, originated and operated by myself, Anthony Donovan, from
March 2008 until August 2009, and now operated by myself, Adrian
Beentjes and Jaan Patterson.
As a project, ClassWar Karaoke is based around a series of ongoing,
quarterly surveys, the first of which, dubbed '0001 survey', was
released in May 2008. Each survey is different - in terms of personnel,
number of personnel, and in terms of theme. Participation is fairly
open - so long as those interested in being involved work intelligently
within the broad context of experimental music and do not seek to use
the project as just another on-line shop-window for their material. So
far, the inclusive nature of classwar karaoke has worked
wonderfully-well in terms of quality of material. See and hear for
yourself by checking out our internet archive pages, and the material
featured here. Indeed, the label itself was envisaged, from the very
start, as an experiment in the positive power which inclusivity can
have upon artworking if included in meaningful ways. That said, we
reserve the right to maintain the quality of both the art which is
offered and the community from which it comes. Our ambitions for the
label have not stoped at periodic on-line releases. ClassWar Karaoke
includes live performances and physical releases, also. Please contact
us for details.

2007 | FLAC | Digitalbiotope | db042 [Improvisation, Free Jazz, Experimental]"Посвящение Ш"
Dedication to "Sh"
This project arose spontaneously in the
summer of 2007 on the celebration of anniversary of St.-Petersburg
cultural center "Pushkinskaya, 10". This quartet is in fact a double
duet of two young saxophonists Ilia Belorukov and Maxim Pozin and two
inveterate avantgardists Vlad Makarov and Dmitriy Kakhovskiy, both
playing cellos. The sound turned out to be incredibly deep and the
texture is solid because of the diffusion of the winds and the strings.
Just like a nightmare of Dmitriy Shostakovich! The music takes you away
to the world of endless "sssss", schoenberg, shostakovich, schnittke,
stockhausen, just to the capital "Sh" like a metaphor of New music. In
this "Sh" the tradition meets innovation. The title "Leningrad
quartet" isn't accidental. In olden days a quartet like this couldn't
exist, but it was wanted. In order of that this paradoxical title
appeared invented by Leningrad resident Kakhovskiy. Talking
about this music would be just like dancing about architecture and so
it could be said: stentorian bells of baritone saxophones are getting
tied from doubled, infinitely multiplied cello fiddlesticks |
