Gig number 94 this is, Kapotte Muziek at Broeinest in Eindhoven, The
Netherlands. A small venue, or gallery... I couldn't work it out. It
was organised by our old friend DMDN (of Midas Music), who was DJ
during the evening and who played with us on for about 1/3 of the
concert - the last third part. Also playing that night was Jos
Smolders, who was brilliant. He made a live recording using a binaural
system and I made a line recording. Jos stuck both recordings together
and released them on his own Ear Labs website, where they can still be downloaded.

Kapotte
muziek is actually first of all a live group. It's not
improvisational music but it certainly looks like it. The guys,
Peter Duimelinks, Roel Meelkop and Frans de Waard, use all kinds
of sound producing material. The only rules are not to use musical
instruments and no electronic devices.
I
had the pleasure of playing at a small live event together with them
in October 2005. I recorded the session live and Frans donated the
PA recording. I glued the two recordings together and the result
you can download below. There are 4 parts, but that is only for practical
download reasons. Together they show you what a Kapotte Muziek concert
sounds like.
Dj DMDN joined forces during the final part.
